Resolution

:-)

Yes I get it.

In the context of a new year (Happy New Year to all, by the way!) the title of this post may easily be misconstrued.

No problem. I shall explain.

I don't mean New Year's resolutions.

Although...speaking of which, I do have an important one.
Not too private to share, so I will.

I shall learn to dance this year :-)
Though, not quite like that in the video accompanying this post, one might be relieved to hear :-)

And... in bowing to popular demand, I shall try to keep posts shorter henceforth.
This New Year resolution may be harder to keep, but I shall try.

I fully rely on you guys to give me a little rap on the knuckles if I exceed acceptable limits :-)

With regards to the SMP, I have alternated (quite schizophrenically) between optimistic and pessimistic.
Now I arrive at the gates of 'neutral'.

Here's how I arrived here.

I had always liked this particular song but not necessarily the pop group, a British girl band known as 'The Sugababes'. I like the 'rhythm' of the underlying beat of this song.
I had also never seen this video until very recently.

It is generally 'raunchy' as one would expect of a pop music video.

But I see something else.

It seems quite apocalyptic to me, for some reason. It also seems incredibly tragic. I find it a particularly joyless song, with my new frame of mind recently, whereas I always liked it before without the 'visual' and not paying much attention to the lyrics.

Women in a ring, men apparently excluded, a metal barricade separating the two genders until the very end.

The lyrics start with this:

Round, round baby
Round, round
Spinning out on me
I don't need no man
Got my kicks for free

And somewhere in the middle we have this...

Explanations - no you don't need one
Having a good time
Getting down to the fun
And it's your time
Just tonight he'll be mine
And he's gone
Yeah

Which seems to describe a 'round and round situation' known as a 'carousel' rather well...

And we end up with...

Ooh
Does it hurt, when you see
How I've done
Without you
Thought that I couldn't belong
Never thought that you could be so cruel
All you need is some friends
Won't be by yourself
Let's go round and round and round and round and r-o-u-nd

There's certainly a touch of 'you hate how I succeed without you' here.

And so on.

This reminds me of the post about angry men and women.

Men and women angry at each other and chasing each other round and round an empty rink of some sort.
Except in this picture drawn by the Sugababes, the women are secluded in a secure area - presumably for their own safety.

How is this all going to end?

The resolution will come, for sure.
But in what form?

What will happen to these angry men and women of the SMP when they are in their 80s and 90s?

Would it be the 'decline' predicted by some?
Or a miraculous recovery by all concerned?

I suddenly had the thought that it would be more like a peaceful resolution.
A contentment which may well be unexpected by all concerned.

Neutral.
But good enough.

I guess everyone has something to be angry about to some extent.
But as Bellita once said, perhaps it is women who will have to blink first.
Remarkable insight.

But not every woman wants to blink first.

Does anyone else have a different ending in mind?
If so, why not share?

You are not man enough!

The above was said to a woman.
Yes that's right. To a woman.

And no, it wasn't meant to be some sort of backhanded compliment.
It was actually meant exactly in the spirit you would expect: as a reproach to a woman who was being judged as a man.
She wasn't aggressive or tough enough.
Not 'balsy' enough to survive in the tough business environment she found herself.

This was on the British version of 'The Apprentice' a few years ago.
The woman in question soon dropped out of the running.

I thought it was a tragedy.
How wrong I was!

In my post about the 'players' and 'officials' of the current SMP, I mention that the State or employer punishes the 'nice girl'.
In this sense, I guess I mean a woman who actually wants to be a woman.

She is at work because she has to be, or chooses to be.
No matter. She does not need to turn into a man to 'get ahead'.
But she is made to feel like she does.
And then when she does, she finds she does not like it.

The above has been said to me in some form or another throughout my own working life.
I have been sent on a 'leadership' course to get me to be 'stronger' on more than one occasion.
But I dug my heels in.
It did not suit my personality to be a 'leader'.
At least not the kind of leader I was being groomed to be.

I am glad I didn't take the bait.
Because I know I can lead when I need to. From the backseat, which is my preferred 'driving position'.

Many women fell into a trap laid out for them by feminism.
Unwitting victims in a cunning plan to rob them of something precious.

There are some women who are natural leaders.
These women are easy to spot. They are great to be around, because they are not working hard to be what they are not.
They are leaders in whatever environment they find themselves.
Some are 'high T' women. Some are surprisingly not.
But they are all women, nonetheless.

And then there are certain women who are some weird form of hybrid between what is normal for a man and what is definitely wrong for a woman.
These women went to 'Feminista school' and graduated with honours.

And now they are just plain scary to little children, even their own.

I see them coming and I have this overwhelming need to run the other way.
If I, as a woman can react to them like this, how much more a man?

It is not these women's fault. Like all of us, they have been tricked by an unseen force.
They were just at the forefront of the proverbial front.

The problem with this scenario is, the effect it had on some men.
Thankfully, this was a minority of men.
The unfortunate ones who were hit with a 'double-whammy'.

These are the men who overly self-identify with women. Because they may not have had a man around to take them by the hand through the walk of life.
These men who also saw how women around him were being masculinised and thought to themselves subconsciously, 'Well, I never! Something's missing. Don't know what it is, but I shall try to find it.'

Well, unfortunately, that something was femininity. The beautiful kind.
And these men went in search of it and lost themselves. Their masculine selves.
Not their fault. The same masculinisation of women robbed them of their fathers, so to speak.
Being good sports, they attempted to right a situation which was not up to them to right.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

These men ended up being deried by both men and women.
To women, they were 'freaks' of Nature. A feminised man. Hello LJBF.
To men, they were also 'freaks' of Nature. A mangina with no masculine soul. Hello lynching by the bollocks on Manosphere sites.

Unfortunate chain reaction.
With many victims.

Mr Lynch has woken up from his slumber. The one that brought him the nightmare of his life.
And now he is angry.
Unlike 'Sleeping Beauty' who was woken by a kiss from a prince, this man was woken by a slap from a masculinised angry woman.
And now he is chasing the same masculinised angry woman round a bed as described here.

Most of his peers successfully manouevred their way through the tricky SMP thing. He was left behind because he had his eyes on women at a time when he should have been watching other men.

There is  a reason I don't like horror films.
How can we stop the production of 'Screech 2'?

We have already listed a lot of the possible antidotes in previous posts.

To summarise them, I shall try to re-construct our list here.

1. Stop telling women to be 'more like a man', i.e. 'Kill your own snakes, never need a man.' This is going against Nature.
In particular, stop using the phrase 'strong and independent'. Most people don't know what this truly means!

2. Planned single motherhood as a 'lifestyle' really needs to go. Our society needs this like a fish needs a bicycle. You already know my thoughts on this.

3. The good Manosphere sites should be essential reading for both men and women. (We can decide amongst ourselves which ones are good for men, and which ones are good for women, hehe).
In this manner, I think men are showing true leadership. A man is really the best mentor for both men and women when it comes to the SMP. In addition, a good mother is essential for a woman too. Both men and women lose out in the absence of a good father-figure. Hence 2. is important.

4. The Angry men should go sort their heads out privately without hurting innocent young women as 'revenge' for the sins of their mothers/big sisters.
Otherwise, rinse and repeat in twenty years.

Does this cover it for now?

We can grow this list together in the comments section.
Or, any howlers above deemed unacceptable can be contested :-)

I know which one I would rather be.

Den (lille) sinte gutten

No I didn't forget to apply the spellchecker :-)
The above title comes from Norwegian, my favourite language.

Translation: The cross little boy. Or the Angry little boy.

Norway is a country that is fiercely proud of its cultural heritage.
Ancient Norse mythology is alive and well in modern Norway.
For the classical fans, composer Edvard Grieg and pianist Leif Ove Andsnes are kings.
For the contemporary lot, followers of the Eurovision Song contest, for example, you will know that Maria Haukass Storeng ruled the world as far as Norwegians were concerned even though she only came 5th in Belgrade in 2008, and Alexander Rybak really did rule when he won in Moscow in 2009.

Frogner Park in central Oslo is the open air gallery of Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland.
There are many famous statues in Frogner Park, but the most famous one is 'The cross little boy'.
He is nicknamed 'Sinnataggen'. He is arguably Norway's favourite son.
The 'cross little boy' is the title of many an essay on cultural issues not only amongst Norwegians but around the world.

Like his Belgian brother in Brussels, he is naked, but this little guy ain't peeing. He is peeved.
Who does he remind me of?
Not who you would expect.

There are lots of angry men around.
For that matter, there are lots of angry women about too.
Both have their grievances. Some are vocal about it.

In a way, the Angry Man and the Angry Woman are chasing each other round and round an empty park.
The Angry Man is shouting at the Angry Woman: You are not woman enough!'
The Angry Woman is shouting at the Angry man: You are not man enough!'

Neither of them is wrong. But neither is totally right either.

Suppose we could somehow take away the reason they are both angry and just focus on getting them to calm down.
(Did I hear, 'dream on SpaceTraveller'?)

Never said it would be easy, but let's try. Let's all revert to childhood for one little second.

Suppose the Angry Man just followed the example of the 'cross little boy'.
Hear me out.

Suppose if instead of running around after The Angry Woman and shouting abuse at her, he just stopped in his tracks, lifted one leg off the ground and just dug his heel in.
And then just stayed like that and didn't move. For a few long minutes.

What would the Angry Woman do?

How might she react?

She might be stunned.

She too might stop running around and start to wonder what just happened.

The 'cross little boy' is a little alpha.
He is cross. And we all know it. Oh yes.

But he ain't running around. He is not throwing himself on the floor of the supermarket. That would be beta behaviour. He is literally standing his ground in no uncertain terms.
I bet you he got his way, regarding whatever he was cross about.
Without ever leaving this position.

The boy on the right has the right facial expression for this post. His facial expression, combined with the stance of the 'cross little boy' is the perfect combination.
(Somehow, the 'cross little boy' looks like he is about to cry...no, no, no, not the look he needs to project right now!)

I think in fact some men are already doing what the 'cross little boy' is doing.

The Angry men with Inner Game are just as angry as the Angry men without.
The first group just know how to use their anger effectively to get what they want.
And they do get what they want. Eventually.
The second group are running around in an empty park. Unproductively of course.

Nth wave Feminism changed womanhood into something it was never meant to be. One of these traits is the permanently angry woman.

Feminism had less of an impact on men because men as a whole did not change too much as a result of feminism.
Some just dug their heels in and continued as men (red pill).
Some got burned when their previously 'good boy' beta habits were thrown back into their faces (blue pill).
Some became ultra bad boys to survive (overdose of red pill).
Some kept the balance between alpha and beta and were the outright winners (purple pill).

But they all remained on a fairly tight and narrow spectrum.

The largest swings of the pendulum occurred on the other side of the fence.
There are some old ladies who wouldn't even recognise some female teenagers today as fellow women.
The old men don't see anything new in their grandsons.
Nothing much has changed about male behaviour, really. It is (mostly) the same as it always was.

Vigeland sure knows his own.

Question is, can or will the rest of the men who are not already doing this, handle things in a way that is...I dunno...more manly?
Where there is no leadership, there certainly will be chaos. Lack of patriarchal leadership breeds anarchy.
